Just handed the car over to Troy and we're in 4th. Was running in 2nd and 8 secs behind the leader but had to pit. So far so good. Was watching that on Twitch. The leaders pitted same lap on fumes and had some confusion where they took tires accidentally. Troy is running 11s in front in 2nd now. |

Turns out that that Twitch stream is the car that you guys passed up and that is running in 3rd now. They're pretty good and always seem to be moving forward, but seem to whine a lot. ....and just spun it in Indianapolis.  |

GBR is sitting in 5th, Chris just got in the car. Kyle can't seem to join so Chris and I may be taking turns until the East Coast guys wake up!

And as I type this Rory just got wiped out by the 37th place Ferrari. Seems superficial. Going to check in.

Great job by everyone!
Armando and Troy did an amazing job to start us off right. Sheldon was able to manage fuel perfectly while maintaining a good pace. Chris and Dale handled the emergency perfectly and also drove awesome. Sorry that Kyle didn't make it in but he is still part of the team. Rory did awesome and fits in perfectly with our little group.
To finish it off I was able to blink my way in while holding on to 5th. LOL yes!!
Also...the paint is damned good looking.:-)

Congrats to everyone! That was a great race. All drivers had mostly trouble free runs as far as I could tell... I appeared to have the most issues with two spins but I didn't hit anything which was lucky.
Snappy, were you having internet issues? I looked the results and almost every lap has missing data.
Rory showed that he was a good addition to the team... nice clean consistent laps.

I've been having intermittent issues where I am blinking but only 1 disconnect in the last 3 years. It's very strange. I am running windows 10. Maybe I should check some of my drivers. It could just be my ISP.

Nice race guys. I had that Twitch stream up as I was on and off the computer yesterday and early this morning for the finish. You were up around the team that was streaming the feed (who ended up in 3rd, I believe) when I was watching so it wasn't too hard to see how you were doing.
Out of curiousity do they usually run the endurance races like these with just one class, or would there typically be a mix of prototypes and GPs on track together? I missed the big protest at the start after apparently a bunch of the top split teams were booted and wasn't sure if that had anything to do with it.

I think the split was "too low" to have HPD's race as well. |
