No custom skin for me this time. I'm going to work on getting a usable Oculus Rift set up, instead.

So I am done with the car paints. I am just working on helmets and suits. I have painted a custom helmet, but the issue is that when I use it, my guys suit becomes all black no matter what suit I have in my folder. If I used a base helmet that comes with the sim, this problem doesn't happen. Anyone know what I have messed up in my helmet to make it exhibit this behavior?

Nevermind...if I have a custom helmet in the folder at all, my guys suit is black. Not sure why this is happening

ehem - is this thing on? My rig has not been turned on since April but I am getting an uncontrollable itch and miss talking to all of you. WOuld one of you fine gentlemen be willing to share a half decent tune with me if you see me online in the next few days? I'll try to at least fire up the rig tonight and download what I am sure is a huge amount of various updates.

If you go in the game to timetrial you can download the setups they used. I have the one from the guy that ran a 135 but couldn't make that one work for me. So mine is different but it might be a good place to start. BTW our friend Ricardo sits at no.4 on the board
