I can't get any better than 1:26. And I feel like I'm right on the raged edge with it. It may be gearing, but the way the gears are set up in this mod is odd, and I don't want to mess it up. I'll see who else is running the E30 M3 and see if their is a tune to be had.

I advise everyone to run off-line and set the race time to 5:30... get an idea of what your braking markers look like in that light. Last reminder... this race runs from late afternoon to night.

my biggest thing with these cars are the wheel has so much slack in it going down the straights and the car want to spin out on heavy braking? ofcourse they are old as dirt and not raceable by todays standards. i'd have to be king kong to hold on to this turd for an hour and a half but i'll be on the grind lol!!!!

In the end the sand claimed 4 drivers I think. Kelly, you were hauling ass in Sectors 1 and 3. No one was able to beat your times. On to Spa next month where the sand is a little more forgiving.

Thanks! I was pretty happy with the way the car was setup overall. Spa should be a hoot!
Hope everyone else's race (minus us beach goers) had a great race.
Cheers!

Sorry for bailing out. No mic,no practice and company at the front door. Three strikes and I'm out. That sand is a killer. See you at spa.

Great race this morning guys. I'm not real sure of how to set the Bimmer up, so I had no speed in the straits, but man it would haul on the mountain. Only had one incident with the sand, and luckily skimmed through it to the road. @jarhead, Sorry for the first lap tap, but you and the guy in front of you were going way slower then I had anticipated since you had the faster car.
Can't wait for Spa....

Thanks for the congrats guys. I made several minor errors and one big one but I got lucky. Once through the unfortunate misfortune of Kelly then later because Boza needed tires. Great race this morning guys. I'm not real sure of how to set the Bimmer up, so I had no speed in the straits, but man it would haul on the mountain. That's pretty well the case with the 190E too. I was 7-10 km/h down on some of you on the straight (somehow I got 260 km/h once but I must've been drafting someone on that lap) and could've been 15 down on Kelly when he went by me. So I tuned for the mountain section and let that save my lap. That could've backfired if I got into a lot of traffic but I didn't.

@jarhead, Sorry for the first lap tap, but you and the guy in front of you were going way slower then I had anticipated since you had the faster car. Its okay, part of racing. Zed just got a better start, I knew I could get by him, I just didn't want to try it in all those turns. Once I hit the wall, it dropped my lap times down by about a second or more. Patience can help in the first lap or 2. If someone is slower, you don't always have to get around them right now. Wait until you can get a run out of a corner and get a clean pass is always better then putting yourself and someone else in the wall.

Yeah, I was just trying to stay as close as possible to you guys, I new once we hit the straits you guys would walk off. Did not anticipate Zed breaking that much there. My fault though. I need to figure out how to get some more strait line speed out of the BMW E30 M3 w/out losing cornering, or I'm gonna get left at Spa.
