Congrats Wolf, and winners of the other classes. Hopefully I can get a bit of luck next race. Can't believe I got through Eau Rouge cleanly all race......until the last lap. Brent, Timber...if you're interested, before next race hook up w/ me and I'll get you the Porsche specfic tunes I'm running. You'll probably have to select "All Cars" to be able to view it as it seems to be specific for the '07 RSR. We need to get the Porsches to the top of the podium!

Hey guys!
Thanks very much for coming out today. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did. This is one hell of a mod! Congrats to Tony, F1, and Fred for making overall race podium. I will post up points etc. a bit later.
I am not going to DNF Boza or myself if you guys are ok with that. Racing for 1.5 hours and crossing the finish line with a 0:00.000 timer and getting a DNF just seems wrong!
Let me know though.
On to Brno - August 5th.
Cheers!

Dose this mean you wont share with me no more??

yep, I don't think the DNF should apply That was a great race everyone, lots of fun! Congrats Tony, you ran a very good race Kelly, sorry for the rear-end on Eau Rouge was my mistake That is normally a flat out corner for me and I was still thinking I could catch F1 for 2nd... so I didn't lift

Good race everyone. Lapping was pretty smooth from what I saw. I think I made a hard pass on a couple of you. Sorry about that.
Thanks for hosting, Kelly. The day-night-day thing was fun.
Agreed, ignore the DNF in the standings.

I definately like the 24hour feel of the race, good call on that. To me it felt like the race went by quicker. Congrats to all the winners and thanks Kelly for setting up this series. ;D

Definitely didn't feel like an hour and a half. Had a blast. Wolf, of course I'll share (even though I probably shouldn't ). I'm surprised the RR setup worked for the FR car. Would've expected the car to have too much push w/ all the changes I made to keep the ass end in line. Gonna have to rethink my pit strategies next race...in theory it was solid...though in the heat of battle planning often gets thrown out the window due to unforeseen circumstances. My lap times were 2 seconds slower running a harder compound to try to reduce a pitstop...time saved there doesn't amount to shit when I had 40 sec of damage repair on L1, then 60 sec of damage repair during my second stop.

Kelly, sorry for the rear-end on Eau Rouge was my mistake No worries at all! For all my "everyone has to be track aware" I had no freaking clue you were coming up on me cause I was focused eyes forward. Serves me right! ;D Standings are up as is Autosim Analyzer data. Cheers!

I was going with a 1 stop strategy until Kelly changed it to 2x fuel So I changed to a 2 stop strategy, 1 short stint on super-soft and then 2 long stints on soft. Figured I could use the super-soft to get bit ahead of Tony before first pit But I neglected to practice standing starts and messed that up, corrected that error but then got too nervous with them right behind me and messed up a braking point, first spin Was doing good correcting that error when I needed to head in for first pit, but I needed to change my tire selection on the fly (does anyone know of a way to pre-setup pit strategies with different tire selections?) and that did not go well with my driving Later again catching Tony, and yet again not relaxed enough and messed up corner entry points thru eau rouge, very costly At this time my pit strategy goes out the window as well as my focus on what my pit settings are... again very costly as I end up taking on super-softs with too little fuel which forces yet again a fuel stop near end of race, add to that a an earlier drive-thru caused by aforesaid fiddling with pit menu Ahh well it was still a very fun and exciting race... however my goal now is to beat Tony at Brno

(does anyone know of a way to pre-setup pit strategies with different tire selections?) and that did not go well with my driving Not that I'm aware of. You could script a macro with something like GlovePIE sites.google.com/site/carlkenner/glovepie/ but I don't think rF has shortcuts to go directly to a menu (I might be wrong.. can't check on this PC) so you'd have to select the pit menu then hit your macro button. I have an iPad/iPhone app that does basically that in iRacing. Via macros it selects my pit options. iR has hotkeys to jump to a particular menu. What I do is pre-select the tires during the grid process. A change later in the game I'll do over a few laps, changing 1 or 2 things as the traffic and track allows. Even then I'd lose 1 sec a lap at Spa fiddling with the pit menu.
