A couple of folks have inquired about increasing the race duration from 90 mins to 120mins so I'm throwing it out to you guys to vote on.
Cheers!

Hmm...does that give me time to eat before my next race? 2 hours on that tiny track in my big assed car...hell... yeah!

After how fast yesterday went by, I voted yes. However if field sizes drop we may want to revisit dropping back to 90. With a smaller field 2 hours may turn into more of a chore than enjoyment.

I voted yes as I am interested in seeing how well it would work and the participation level. The 90 min race yesterday was a lot of fun (except for my offtrack excursions and all too often visits to the pits ). The 2 hour iRace was also a lot of fun and there was a high participation level for that. But it was quite a workout ! So I think we should give it a try but be willing to change it back if that proves better.

I agree 100% on all points so far.

Or even keep the non-24 hour races at 90, and run the 12/24 hr day/night races at 120 minutes. I think part of the reason it passed so fast yesterday was because of the day/night shift.

I picked maybe, I can do it no problem. But some people like Timber, may have problems with it. I know he works 12 hour night shifts and gets off at 8am and goes back at 8pm. so it may already be cutting into his sleep time. (As this starts at 10:30am our time)
In case your wondering why I bring up issues for Timber. We have been friends for 40 years +- 1 or2. And we have been involved in the same gaming community(s) for 35 of those. So if he's working, I make sure to let everyone know the issues he may have. Who knows, he may be able to make the time. I'm just letting you know he may not be able to.

What if we rolled the start back to 0800 PDT, would that help him with timing? I have no problem getting up 30 min earlier.

Talk to him tonight after the Mustang race and see if he had any problems yesterday. and what he thinks about adding another half hour. But if we did move it up and no one has issues, he would still be getting to bed at the same time as yesterday. I will try to coax him into getting on the forums and speaking for himself. He's like Bear, you wont see him on here much.
