 **we are using the chicane just before The Keyhole** DATE: Sunday Aug 19th TIME: 0830 PDT TRACK: Mid-Ohio, chicane version dl.dropbox.com/u/25238931/MidOhio.exeTRACK NOTES: There's a bit of off-camber and over-crest stuff here. You'll probably want a fairly soft setup to keep the wheels on the road. Turns 5 and 9 are blind but once you figure out a line they're not hard. ** do not cut Turn 1** There is a curb to separate Pit Exit from the racing line. Repeated violations will be penalized. Also, if you feel brave and want to touch that curb with your front wheel you'll likely be heading into the grass. Respect the curb. RACE LENGTH: 90 minutes timed event QUALIFICATION: By Live Racers times at 0001, Aug 19 RACE CONDITIONS: You will need headlights for the first 1/3 of the race. Night start, morning finish. SAND: Not tested but I've used this track a lot and not heard any complaints. However, if you go in deep at China Beach... well you're going to be there a while because it's big. Please report any issues to me before race day. FUEL: 2x TIRES: 1x |

Not going to make this one, have to be the other end of the country swinging a sword to entertain the masses...Damn shame I like driving this one it's my kind of racing.

FYI, I'll be testing tracks in the next couple of days then laying out the next 2 or 3 events since there seems to be interest in this mod still  |

Heh yeah forgot not everyone knew...I run an Historical combat display team, we are all trained western martial artists, trained by your truly, and yes I do own a full suit of armour that I sometimes fight in, though my advancing years mean that happens less and less. I have choreographed sword fights for a few film and TV productions and have a promo in Hollywood at the moment...it all sounds very cool and like I'm hobnobbing with the stars but not too much of that and in the past couple of years demand for our skills has fallen off due to lack of funds everywhere, not much work at all lately. To be honest I'd rather be racing with you guys but you gotta earn it when you can.
