We kinda figured. So are we going to run it at a later date? I hope so, hell even Bear was enjoying this track and car configuration. The only bad thing is Stinky got the hang of the car now... Damn it!  |

FYI, Wed 22 is open now. I just got an email that my meeting for the night of the 20th got rescheduled so I'll move iRacing V8s back to Monday.

Realized the linked default tune was incorrect in the original post. I've corrected it with the one we will be using. Hope to see you guys there Wednesday night.

Thanx I would like to do this race tomorrow, but I need a copy of the Montreal track. The link in the OP does not work. I have a Montreal track, but it is the wrong one. When I tried to join the server, I got a track mismatch. |

Is the track you have in a folder that's something like (this won't be exact as I'm at work rightnow) F1_1998_C4/05_Montreal? If so look in the track's folder for a file that ends in .gdb. Open it with Notepad and look at the Pit Speed limit is (about 10 lines down). The original track is a 400 km/h limit. When we ran V8s here we issued a custom GDB with realistic pit limits. Here is the unaltered original track dl.dropbox.com/u/25238931/Montreal1988.zipIf you have the right track *and* you have thr 400 km/h speed limit then rename Montreal_1988_C4.gdb to Montreal_1988_C4.gdbx (just to archive it) and replace with this file dl.dropbox.com/u/25238931/Montreal_1988_C4.gdb(right-click, save-as on that so that your browser doesn't try to open it). |
