Thanks Craig. I would have never caught Hawks though if he hadn't backed it down when he got together with Boza. Man those cars are fun!! Thanks to everyone that came out, we had a nice sized field!

I was dealing w/ internet issues during qually & Race 1. Race 2 got off to a shaky start w/ light contact w/ Tony...resulting in him going for a little loopty-loo into the dirt. Waited for him to get rolling and gave him the spot back. We set off on a rampage, closing down the gap to the pack until he went for a trip to the sandbox again in a battle w/ another car. Started working my way through until I got into a battle w/ Craig. Went for several laps, getting little openings here and there that I couldn't capitalize on. Finally got a run off T4 and made the pass into the left-hander heading up the hill. Worked my ass off keeping Craig behind me for a couple laps. With 2 or 3 to go, went to brake deep going into the corkscrew (Craig was getting more and more frisky) and Craig tried to brake even deeper. He ended up locking the brakes and giving me a little shunt in the back bumper, off to the right on entry to the corkscrew. Lost the position and tons of ground, and was barely able hold off Timber before the finish...who was on a rampage after an earlier off.

Fun races last night guys. While a little more contact then we are used to, unless you run Spazcar, it was a great time. I really enjoy the fact that we can have a series that offers enough grip, stability and low enough speed that we mix it up without serious consequences. This quickly becoming one of my favorite series here at GBR.

That is an accurate description of my battle with Helios, but he is a little too charitable. When he passed me, I was definitely on a rampage and was looking to close the gap quickly. I might have given him more than a "little shunt." It wasn't intentional, but perhaps it was reckless? Anyway, you guys are all good sports and this series is good fun. Thank you for making it happen Stinky!!!
