Can someone clue me in on the window thing and the alpha settings ect, I'm using a older version of Photoshop. I used the window template psd, changed the text numbers and name to me, flattened it, saved as dds file, put it in game. It shows up but everything on the windows is very transparent, the driver name is still the default in black over my name in a very opaque white.
Thanks

I plan to go retro and use my original paint this season. I will bring back the Husky paint during football season. Is there any thing I need to do?

It sounds like you didn't mask off the decals then fill that selection with white on the alpha layer. gbr.proboards.com/thread/1181/painting-stinky#Without that, the renderer doesn't know what's transparent or opaque.

No I hadn't looked at it, thanks that explains it and I will work on it tonight.

Again thanks for the link to the window painting tutorial, learned something new. Although I could not do the Ctl+Click to merge,I had to do Merge Link maybe because I'm using PhotoShop 6 an old version. Anyway I see there is a wheels template, I tried putting the .dds in Msc folder under Skins and named it the car file name +Wheels, didn't work. How do you get this in game to use, where does it go and what do you name it. Sorry for all the questions, learning new things.

Add 6sp to your file name and put it in the Misc folder. So if my skin name is Stinky.dds, the rims file would be Stinky6sp.dds.

Figured I'd get this out there earlyish for next season. I'd like a scheme modeled after Dyson Racing's 2013 ALMS P1 Lola/Mazda.....along with a number change to #20. If anyone has the time. Cheers.
