That was a fun race last night!! Congrats to Stinky(Your just on another level right now ;D)!! 1st race I had bad start and pulled a "Dukes of Hazzard's" jump at the chicane and I think I took out Smokey in the process(sorry  ). After that I had fun chasing Smokey until I punted him off the track(sorry again ) Race 2, what can I say, F1 and I was going at it the whole race. 1st half he was putting alot of pressure on me and vice versa towards the end of the race. Going into the chicane we were both being stubborn and wasn't going to give an inch. I knew it was going to bad for one us, but DAMN we both flipped!! ;D ;D Nice video btw. Can't wait for season 5 to start!!! ;D ;D |

That sucks. It's always something with Shaw... I went through a month or two of random drops before things settled down. Before that I had a few months of random corrupted packets. If you don't get a satisfactory response I can direct you to a forum that's frequented by a Shaw rep. www.dslreports.com/forum/shaw (You want the Ask ShawSean thread). One post there about my issue and I had a tech phoning me later that day... no BS with front line support telling me to restart my PC, etc. Another service call has been set for September 10th, which also just happens to coincide with their scheduled "fix" for the node dispersion in the area. Beyond that though, we are going the CRTC route as we are simply not being provided the service for which was advertised and for what we are paying. I don't care about a refund or anything like that. I want the full or near full bandwidth that I'm paying for. If in order to get 100Mbps they have to bump us to 250, then they can do that and they can eat the difference. I will be visiting that link you provided though to stir up the pot and see what shakes down from Shaw. Cheers! |

I will be visiting that link you provided though to stir up the pot and see what shakes down from Shaw. ShawSean can't do much for you directly but it sure feels good when he gets you a competent person to talk to. Shaw seems to have this policy of never informing you of the problem... at least twice now I've complained of an issue (not normal connectivity things but weird stuff) then it magically gets fixed in a few days with no explanation or follow-up. |
