Keeping an eye on this. so far only cars of interest are te mini and the camaro. If more content comes available might pick it up. After all, it is essentially a super tweaked rf1 mod.

If you use the engine from rf1 but build a demonstrably new game around it is that still 'just' a mod. As mentioned in that thread, as just one example, are all the $50 games released using the Unreal Tournament engine just mods? |

There are not that many game engines around... and they tend to get licensed to game developers that don't want to start from scratch. Think of it as using DirectX, it's a pre-built set of libraries for your game.

i was gonna ask if i can chuck in our tracks? i like how in instant replay it uses the triples for full view i was all excited but when you play a replay its just single screen like rF1  |

That's 3 of us peeking over the fence. My issue isn't the money...$20 is nothing...mine is time. I don't know when the hell I would actually get to use it. I still haven't run R07 more than 20 minutes...and I've owned it for over a year now. |

Hey F1. I'm hanging on the edge with you,unless you caved in allready. Nope, not gonna do it. The list of games I'm neglecting right now is growing. - Skyrim (played for about 30 minutes last winter, I don't think I finished the hand-holding part that tells me what to do so I have to start over) - DiRT (part way though), DiRT 2 not opened. - FIFA 11 (g/f got it for me, haven't even put it into the Xbox) - 2 or 3 FPS for the Xbox that are 1/3 completed. I think I have to restart FarCry2 from the beginning because I have no idea what I was doing in it. - A crap ton of Steam games I got on sale (Mass Effect, etc.) - New Half-Life mod coming out (hells yeah!) - iRacing (I've got to get back into a routine there) Combine that with a stack of books I want to read, the fact that sim racing is making me fat and I have to start exercising... there's no time for another sim! |

If you have Dirt 2 for x-box, let myself and Emcee know when you start playing it. We'll jump in if you want. I have dirt 2 for the xbox. Love the online racing there, especially the trucks and buggies. Let me know when you wanna race, I'll be there as long it's not Sunday or Monday. |

mini's seem to be quite a bit of fun  the game does seem to stress the video cards a bit more, prob have to turn down some effects  |

We start the normal time on Sunday, same as the other Sunday events (8:30 am PST my time).
