Well, I give up. I tried and tried last night to catch Stinky and post a 1:07 but it's not in me. Partial success is that I'm finally matching his times in S2... but I'm now losing 0.356 in the last sector.
If there's a 07 there, Stinky is the one to show us the way.

Believe me, I've tried, I don't have it in me. I've hit a 1.08.0xx only twice. Couldn't even get there last night.

I think the way to do it is close off the grille tape, short shift for a lap or two get the tires to just the right temperature and then hook up one single fast lap before the engine detonates.

Sorry bailed early in second race. Hit the wall head on at exit speed and was done..as I would have been in real life. Couldnt drive back to the pits to get repaired and didn't want to be stuck on the track and ruin anyone else's race.

Sorry to hear that Spaz. I had to do that @ Mosport so I feel your pain! Good first race for me and had the pace in the second race only to incur a stop/go and after that it was just circulating... Grrrr! Great opening event for the season.
So lets get this kind of turnout for the Mustangs tomorrow night. Don't be shy!
