Mid-Ohio? Now that's a track for these beasts.

Is there a practice server up for these things? I looked but did not find one.

Server is up w/ the Supercup right now. I'll be switching to the DRM after the Supercup race Sunday morning.

Need some help with the Diff settings. I'm having to use the controller and Auto trans because I can't keep up with all the shifting w/out a stick. Problem one, kick out under breaking. Problem two, to much diff lock under acceleration. I'm still not sure which way dose what here. Suggestions?

Turn "Preload" down on the diff to lessen the suddenness of engagement. Turn "Coast" up. The lower the setting is on coast, the more power or engine braking goes to 1 wheel...creating a yaw effect on the car. It can induce understeer during off throttle situations if you go too far.
Another thing that may be worth looking at is the "Engine Brake" setting. Increasing the number increases the % of throttle that is left open in between shifts. This will also smooth the downshifts, though at the expense of slightly longer braking distances.

I'm out. I tried to get out of my meeting last night but the GM wants me there. Probably won't be home until 9.
On the plus side, I'll sit in the back row and get two hours of overtime while I play with my iPad.

I came into this mod thinking I would not like it as the cars were so hard to control. But with the help and advice from Helios and Tony D. I got a good set up and it was an absolute blast to drive. Can't wait till next time. ;D

Thanks for coming out last night guys. Awesome racing Wolf. Race 1 was ridiculous, and Race 2 was shaping up to be the same...until I spun trying to keep from rear ending you in the chicane. Sounds like there was some other pretty decent scraps going on as well.
