Your road map to A license: only 1 car needed.

For those of you who either can't or don't want to spend a lot of money on iRacing, I have figured out a way for you to get an A class license.

If you are participating in the GBR iRacing series, you are already planning to buy 5 tracks and 1 car. With that and the base content, just 1 more car can get you to A in both Road and Oval classifications.

The one car you will need is the Dallara IndyCar. It is used in both Oval and Road Races in C and B classes. It is also a fun car to drive. I'm running it in the C class fixed Oval series this Season

Here is the plan using base tracks and tracks needed for GBR Series plus the IndyCar.

To get promoted, you only need to run 4 official races (8 or more competitors) or 4 time trials in your current license class and get your SR over 4.00. You do not need to run 4 different weeks of racing, you can run 4 time trials in a row on the same track to meet the MPR. You can use any series you are eligible for to get your SR up.

You can use the MX5 or Pontiac in Grand Touring Cup

Very nicely done Jarhead. Glad to see someone who might be more addicted to iRacing than I am. 90 official races in less than a month??? LOL!

That's about as many official races as I've run since joining in 2010!

Although I shelved it for almost a year and then right after I renewed, this league started up. So I haven't had as much time for iRacing as I'd like.
