Just ran five laps and it feels great. Dave made some nice improvements, or it could be that the Nationwide car drives a lot better than the IROC. Drive with confidence!!! Yes, you can still spin, but its not quite as easy as it was with the IROC.

Chris ( helios) came up with a nice tune for us. I did a slight edit last night to it to remove the turn 1 looseness up the hill and to give it a little more rear brake to help it stop better and lower the front end lock up. Locked tune is on the server. You will get 12- 13 laps of fuel on a tank. I've got it at 2 x use to match the tire wear which depending how hard you drive the left front will last about the same.
It's our first road course in Spazcar in awhile guys. Venue is set for 25 laps. I am going to stress you guys get some practice in, this is definatly NOT just a hop in and run a couple laps the get the "feel". There's right hand turns this time! Actually mostly right hand turns..lol
Look forward to seeing you guys out there!

Sorry I missed the race. Lost internet connection at 7:15pm pst. Did not get it restored until 8:45. I'm sooo pissed at att. Maybe time to change IP. Damn, I think I posted my fastest time practicing tonight too. Glad Las Vegas is only a week away.

That's a bummer Ed. I wondered where you disappeared to. If it makes you feel any better, I've been having internet issues of late also, so you're not alone.
Had a blast racing tonight guys. I hadn't had a chance to practice until about an hour or so before we started. At first I didn't think this damn car could get around the track in one piece, but started to feel good right about race time.
Ran somewhat close behind the aliens (Boza and Stinky) early, then went to the back on my pitstop (damn kids!). Struggled for a bit, then that last 5 laps of green flag racing was a blast. Had a good battle with Craig (I had to get by the ugly Raiders car), then Greg and I duked it out for a couple laps before I was able to squeeze my way into the hairpin to get by.
Congrats to the Podium and thanks for hosting Ian!

Sorry we missed you ED. I hear ya bout the internet issues. Had to go buy a new modem last week cause of all the frequent drops. Great racing last night guys. Had a good time. Glad everyone could make it, that did. The road course specialists that were brought in, sure looked promising in the early going , but in the end...the Spazcar regulars prevailed Got to watch a great battle between Boza and Jeff in the final laps. Almost was able to capitalize on the two of them racing so hard. I heard some good battles, and lot of laughing and generally good fun going on in the race. That's what I like to hear, means things are going the way i'd like em too. I know road course aren't our most favorite (well for some of us) but they still provide some great racing. Well done on everyone's part. Thanks to Chris for the great tune that actually made these cars driveable , even if they were bouncy at the less then smooth surface of Infineon Next week we are off to Las Vegas (hopefully we don't have the scroing issues like last version had) and it should be an exctinig event! Fast will eat tires, but playing it safe will cost you speed...so it will definatly be a gamble! Will have the server up in couple days for you to do your practice on. Points are updated and current with awarded bonus points, be sure to go check out where ya stand. Jeff sitting on top already with the back to back wins. But...with the revised points system, It still anyones game Thanks again for everyones participation, we had good size field!

I enjoyed it, even though it was a road course. The cautions really help make the races more competitive. No one is out of it.

I hate this track but the racing was fun. We just did an R2P enduro here so at least I knew the track well.
I found a groove somewhere around the 1st caution and was able to push hard. My pit strategy didn't work out for me and I was fighting with traffic for the last 1/3 of the race. I had a great battle with Custom but couldn't get enough of my car alongside to force a pass until he made a small error.

Really enjoyed this race, the car was an absolute joy to drive around this track. I watched a bit of the replay to see what I was doing in relation to other drivers. Hopefully I didn't cause any wrecks or offs. This seemed to me to be one of my better races

You had a great race Sheldon. You and I were door to door there for a bit early on. I lost ground in the pits, so I never had a chance to duke it out with you at the end.
