Server is up. You need the latest Formula ISI car, Silverstone 1.01 and rFactor 2 build 240. The server is loaded with a custom mod that ensures you connect with the right content. Mod (you need to install this small mod via the Mod Manager): dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/25238931/GBR%20FISI.rfmodDate/Time: Sunday June 30, 2013 at 9:30 AM PDT TIMING: LiveRacers not active for this event QUALIFICATION: Unlikely unless we get a big field. We'll discuss it before the race but most likely will let practice times be the quali. FLAGS: flags off LAPS: -Race 1: 5 Laps -Race 2: 15 Laps PIT: driver's choice PIT SPEED: unknown FUEL: 1x TIRES: 1x DAMAGE%: 0% - damage is off for maximum fun factor Setups/Tuning: Open |

OK, it looks like something has changed since I last hosted. The necessary mod is now included in the first post now. You install it like any other mod (using Mod Manager) but it's just a small file that links the car and track into a mod.

Heh what made it worse was while trying to get back on the track I fell through one of the only two holes in the track dumping me back to the pits, race over. Ah well for a few glorious laps I was in front, no assists in an F1 car at Silverstone...You will forgive me for going totally silent, silence was my best option. I was so looking forward to this and to be back in the pits halfway through was shall we say mildly upsetting.
I will say this car and track combo is rF2's coming of age. Track looks great, and the car is the best feeling open wheeler of any Sim in my fairly uninformed opinion.
Oh well here's to the next rF2 outing that will no doubt be in some horrible V8 and I will be back where I am more usually found in a GBR race...at the back LOL
