I reinstalled project cars into steam. But when I try to launch the game I get this pop up box that say"s
unhandled exception trapped. EXCEPTION_ACCESS VIOLATION at 0x00aad46b. Reading from 0x00000274
build SMSARI.20130802.BLDM000
Maybe someone can help me out. thanks Greg

That appears to be a bug that has been hanging around for some time. There are a lot of threads discussing it. I recall having a similar issue when I switched to the Steam version. If I recall correctly, I resolved it by re-installing DirectX.

Not sure how to fix the crash...like the guys mentioned there threads on there forum that can help. Also not sure if they have fixed it yet but once you get it running pcars was launching in dx9 and you have to point the launch at the dx11 folder. Once you get it running read the physic ai thread for the past 3 weeks they have been picking 3 cars a week to focus more specially on them so they will be in a better state than the other but still not complete .)
