I just had an awesome IndyCar race. There were only 3 drivers with setups capable of winning. We were just taking it easy for the first 75 laps or so of a 100 lap race. I was running 2nd. The track is Kansas and it was impossible to complete a pass on the leader unless he screwed up. The best I could do was run side by side close enough to get a side draft and sometimes get slightly ahead of him. That is how we ran for the last 20+ laps. Some laps he would lead, some laps I would lead. The last few laps, the 3rd place driver gave me some help by getting behind me which creates a little push. In the end, I won the race by .001 (1/1000 of a second).
I have a couple of pictures and I also uploaded the replay of the last 20 laps. Please check it out if you have iRacing. It really shows the intensity of IndyCar oval racing. White knuckle all the way. I was drained after the race.
