So I have a question on Pit Entry. It looks like you enter from the tail end of the GP circuit rather than from the front meaning you have to complete a lap of the GP circuit, pit, do another lap of the GP circuit then out onto the ring portion?
Cheers!

I've just been cutting in as you re-enter the GP circuit from the old Nordschliefe circuit.
Which brings up another topic. It is probably worthwhile if during practice when you damage the car (get a flat) to tough it out for the lap rather than just escape back to the pits. Getting a feel for the car w/ a flat LF/RF could be key in saving time when/if it happens during the race as you can get a feel for how hard you can push through the corners and prevent another off further damaging the car.

Ok I was thinking that made the most sense but didn't want a dq for doing a cut like that. So not having had a flat before does the tire wear icon (all the little bars) go all red or black or something. Good point on practicing through the damage to get her to the pits.

You will see the temp go through the roof...but nothing obvious. Tell tale signs are a pull at higher speeds and the flat tire locks up a lot easier when you're on the brakes. I'll probably try to get clarification on pit in though. Be good to have everyone on the same page.

Heh so basically we don't know. How to induce a flat to test?

Ditto. If I finish this race it'll be a miracle. Even if I drive carefully, I'm going to space out at some point.

With the damage being set at 50%, I think it's going to take a pretty major shunt to kill it.

I'm getting more familiar w/ the GTS-R around the track. I've been practicing w/ 20-25 other cars on the track to get used to passing (and getting passed : . I'm now completing more laps clean than I am hitting a wall and have dropped my best lap down to a 9:00 flat. ;D I did do some sampling of the rest of the cars yesterday...afraid I'd find a car that I would like more...and am happy w/ the Viper. My other choice would've been one of the Porsches. The E30, while a great car to drive (clicked with it immediately), has such a lack luster engine song for a wild, high revving V8, that I would start going crazy before the 2 hours were up. The Lambo sounded great, but definitely needed some suspension setup out of the box. Lots of understeer. Still want to drive the Volvo & Maserati for shits and giggles. ;D
