I tried one of the Porsche cars and I really liked it. But there were a number in the race already. So to try something different and be a bit of a masochist I picked the Maserati...

Want me to address this on Efnet? I didn't Ram anybody off track at any point and I def curbed my car to go around a car sitting in the middle. And given the option of forcing a pass or not, I'll wait for a better point. Your call as I don't want to bring anything negative to GBR for any reason.
Your guys' call.

Yeah, there's a few of them over there like that. Don't let it get to you. If you don't already, map a quick chat button to say "sorry" in the advent of contact. It doesn't sound like much, but it lets the other guy know it wasn't intentional so he doesn't stew all race.

A good GBR turnout tonight. Boza flew the GBR flag high with fast race lap adn 2nd place and was one of the few drivers to make the leader earn his win. I nabbed a 3rd in class and 6th overall.
Unfortunate results for bones (DNS due to framerate issues), Kelly (got disconnected), Helios (crash and burn... literally) and OldSlowFred (fuel).

Well done guys! Sorry I couldn't make a better run. Helios and I were chewing up the field something fierce when I dropped.
I'm still fuming about the drop. All that practice for nothing. Grrr. Hopefully they do it again and I get an invite again.
Cheers!

They will, though it's a once a year event typically. That was fun though. We must've swapped places half a dozen times over the 2 laps.

That was a hell of a lot of fun!!! I would not mind doing that a lot more often than once a year If you hear of any other endurance events like that let me know Would have had a pretty good finish if not for the fuel screw-up I was quite often in the midst of some other cars (usually SP3 I think) and on the lap I should have stopped for fuel I was too busy trying to stay ahead of this guy who was right behind me So my mistake but all in all was still a great race and a great time. Thanks to Efnet for hosting this and Helios, etc for letting us know about it

That was a lot of fun!! Pit strategy cost me the lead, next time I have to remember to turn off "repair damage" cause I was in the pits a minute longer that Reynard. Next time hopefully we won't lose any GBR guys and take the top spots. Thanks again for the invite Helios

I screwed my pit strategy too, I started with less than 1/2 tank (then planned two full load stops during the race) to have good pace but my fuel usage was slightly higher than expected and I forgot to allow for 1 hour + 1 lap. In the end it cost me an overall 5th place... 4th if I'd not spun twice Next time I might not be so fancy... full tanks at each stop except the last.

Yeah I don't know how that mod calculated pit stops. Last time I checked, the pit crew doesn't fuel the car with garden hoses nor do they change tires with a manual wrench. The pit stops are brutal in the mod but otherwise, huge fun!
Did I mention I'm STILL pissed about getting disconnected?
Cheers!
