Well done Stinky! I had a blast, despite my stupid mistakes in qualifying and at the beginning, when I failed to make sure I had enough fuel for the whole race. LOL! Looking forward to next week's mayhem on the short track.

Thanks! Those cars are FUN! I thought I blew it when I had to go to the rear after that mid-race caution but I was able to work my way back up. Can't wait for the Joesville short track! Should be interesting!

I was hoping to have something for ya stinky til I lost it in turn 2 at the beginning. I enjoyed it. Small track next venue going to really bring out the fender to fender action guys so be sure to come out with thick shoulders and accept there could be some good old short track beating and banging going on. If you cantt man up for that...make grab a beer and come be a spectator : p

Some great racing last night. A little rubbin at the beginning put me behind the pack, but that mid race caution was just what we needed. Brought the field back together and made for some good close racing. I was starting to get close to Tony, but he found his groove and started pulling away. I ran out of beer right before the end too which didn't help. Gonna have to move the beer refrigerator closer to my chair for the next race, right now it's just out of arms reach.

Lol that not a good thing! Gotta get one of those extended grabber things to reach over with! Imm trying to keep this series close and competitive for everyone. I know not everyone has ovals in their blood... so I will throuhh competition cautions when I feel the field is too spread out. But I will try limiting that to one event. Now last night brought something to my attention and stinky made a good point that id like to consider for us...in the event that a comp caition is going to be called I wouldn't mind us slowing down first...letting lapped cars go around us as we hold our position in order to get everyone back in the lead lap to have a fighting chance on the restart...just an idea

Fun last night... unfortunately I was running by myself for most of the race. Once we settled in Jarhead caught and passed me then was a dot on the horizon. Later I was trying to run down Lawyer (I think) then noticed he was a lap down to me so I eased off a bit. I think Spazcar will get more attention from me than street stocks but that doesn't mean I won't be popping in from time to time

Well I want to bring the same level of competition to the street stocks as we have in spazcar. This is a different kind of racing then the v8... so need to figure out way to bring same level of competition

I like the idea of letting the lapped cars get back on the lead lap before the caution. We are racing for fun right? There is no money involved. It's a lot more fun to have a close race.
Something else to consider is heats. Have 2 or 3 or maybe even 4 shorter races instead of one long one. That would help to have closer competition also. Could possibly even invert the field for the later races too.

if you have a peak at the schedule you will see thatvrestvof events are split into like real life sort track special events with inverted field. The action will be more intense next time round as we on shorter tracks

Last night I was able to beat the yellow and catch up to some folks, but not the folks that had lapped me previously when I had to pit. Part of why I enjoyed Street Stocks and VHR so much is the close competition from top to bottom, that we do not have in V8 Supercars.

Well dont be surprised if infineon is very much like the v8. They gonna be hard to drive there and imm worried about it getting so spread out and stuff

I like V8 Supercars exactly how it is, and I do not support the inclusion of competition cautions in that series. Its focused on road courses, where one mistake can take you out for the entire race. I like that, but I also like to do some races where you can recover from the mistake and still have a chance to win. That seems to be the right way to go for Street Stocks and the majority of races in VHR.

I believe we should be running with damage ON. It's more realistic, and makes one think before doing something stupid. But I also understand the pits are long. So I suggest we run with damage at 20%. I hate the fact that their is no consequence for a really dumb move. I know we want this to be fun, but, I feel that if you can't handle the fact that a wreck can end your race, you shouldn't be racing. Crashes, DNF and DNS's are part of the experience. With out these, we might as well be playing an arcade game. As far as comp. yellows go, I can see it on longer tracks, but on short tracks, even a guy 10 laps down will be side by side racing. Just my opinion, I'll race no matter what, but I race rFactor because it's one of the most realistic SIMs out there, not an arcade game.
End of rant....
