I probably won't make it tonight. There are a bunch of updates to iRacing I want to play with and the rest of my week is booked.

A word about Team Speak for tonight. The server is in need of an update. The new client down load will work with it, but it is screwing with the bandwidth allocation. And the server patch has been taken down because of some bug issues, so I can't update the server yet. So if it gets garbled, try not to talk over each other and maybe we will be able to understand one another. Sorry for the inconvenience...

Great racing tonight guys. Had a lot of fun in both races, really close racing. Especially liked the second race working through traffic and the awesome battle with Seahawks for the last 20 laps or so.

That was some awesome racing tonight...I'm very happy with how it turned out. The cautions worked perfectly in this mod..I tested the "distance" behind the guy you are supposed to follow and it dropped me to the back, so as in Spazcar, you guys gotta make sure you are close to the person you are supposed to follow. Cost me my third and maybe a win (?) in second race but i'm not bitchin bout that, i had a great time battling back up and got to watch the epic battle between jarhead and hawks out of my windshield. Congrats to everyone that ran, i appreciate you coming out For those of you that are passing up on this mod..you are honestly missing out of some great racing, ya it just turning left, but in this mod , it's hard to do it fast...and it offers some great door to door battles that we can't always get in the v8's. ...just saying..

This is the first time I've run a race with the Street Stock mod. I was skeptical at first, but after running a couple races tonight I'm sold. Had a blast (great battle with Jarhead in Race 2) and would be even better if we can get some more cars on track. Just come out for 1 race before you completely disregard it.
Thanks for hosting Spaz.

For those of you that are passing up on this mod..you are honestly missing out of some great racing, ya it just turning left, but in this mod , it's hard to do it fast...and it offers some great door to door battles that we can't always get in the v8's. ...just saying.. Just not practical for me w/ my current work schedule (races are essentially in the middle of the night for me). I make exceptions for V8SCs, but it's just too damn hard to try to go to bed by 3, sleep for 3-3.5 hours, run a race then if lucky go back to bed for 2 hours. Hell last week, I feel asleep w/ my phone in my hand before I had a chance to set the alarm for the V8 race . But for me, my time is better spent trying to prepare for the V8SCs & Historix. My goal is to get inside the top 10 in points in efnet's Historix series (lofty goal w/ the guys there), so I need to turn some laps in the 911R to learn a new track every week...as we seem to seldom run at a place I have any familiarity with. And my goal of top 5 in V8s...I've got a lot of work to do there now that I've missed 2 races. Ouch. Maybe later. But it's really just not my thing, I'm a sportscar guy , that now owns a redneck truck. ;D (Now if they had a mid-late '60s or mid '80s to early '90s NASCAR, I might be a bit interested. I wouldn't mind hustling some Galaxies/Talladegas or T-Birds around as much. ) Congrats Tony! Way to represent the Blue Oval!

Understood your weird and wacky work schedule..nice part about this series, you don't have to practice a ton to have someone to race with

I hadn't turned one lap until last night about an hour before the race. Not too hard to learn a track with basically 2 corners on it. Now the V8SC races are a different story. I usually turn hundreds of laps to get ready for those races.
