So what could I be doing wrong? 1 - Downloaded the mods & patches. 2 - Placed in rF2/Packages folder in Documents. Upon running Mod Manager, none of the mods are listed to be able to install. I was able to get the track listed & installed.....but the .rfmod files (GT Endurance, Renault Megane & Clio) don't seem to show. Now I know why you said to set aside a lot of time.....the old rF1 way would've been done and installed by now.

Documents? My mods go here: Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\Packages ignore the mod version numbers there... I just realized on this fresh install that I didn't update the ones that had updates yet. This might be related to that conversation earlier about things in your Documents folder vs other folders.

But it found the Brianza track just fine. WTF? Doesn't make any damn sense. Trying to download the car mod from rFcentral now...

They show up when I pull them from rF Central.....not from the official ISI site. Go figure.

Mine go in the User/Mydocs/rF2/Packages as well...and I often have the devils own job getting mods installed. Did your install do that or did you move the folder F1?

Sorry for any confusion if so. The drive with my User folder is a SSD so I may have forced the packages folder to another drive and forgot that I did so.

When you first install you get the option to have a single install or a duel, if you go for duel...this is the default ie you just keep clicking yes through the process then the files in my documents appear, if you what it in anything other than the default location you end up with a single install because at each stage you will point to the location you want...hope that made sense.
