Installed last night. Ended up screwing around with it for over an hour. Nice graphics, good sound. I like how it is a standard rFactor install...instead of an entirely separate UI that some of the F1 mods have (like the CTDP 2006 I have). Very drivable, but still having that edge. All but the most ham-footed drivers should be able to drive them without TC on. My only gripe with them so far is the AI wasn't able to run 15 minutes w/o blowing motors. Going to play around with it some more. I wonder if maybe I had it setup in Qually mode, with a more aggressive engine map. I ran a couple races around Portland & Varano. Way more fun than I was expecting. Let me know if anyone else is interested in running these sometime.

If I'm available when you do it, count me in.

You guys running iRacing? If not, we could screw around with these while the others are running their iRacing race. That would let Knight play as well. Otherwise we could always shoot for after PMSC, being that it's a short race anyways, if there are any iRacing guys that want to run these as well.

While F1 cars aren't normally my thing if this was on a Sunday I would be inclined to take a shot at these.

I'd sure appreciate it, the most fun racing I do is with GBR...even if you do talk me off the track LOL

At this point I've got no intentions of setting up a series (if someone wanted to, I'll leave that up to them). But I would like to muck around with these cars with others, and maybe run some short races. Totally casual. And considering that it uses standard rF UI, not some standalone, there shouldn't be the issues of mucking w/ the servers like the one F1 tried a couple months back. I hope. It's kinda one of those jump into something completely different for the shits n' giggles of it, then come back to reality. ;D

Installed this morning. Ran a few laps around Kyalami 1979. ;D ;D ;D ;D I was not a big fan of Road racing games, till I joined this group and rFactor. I played them because I love cars, but NASCAR & Dirt Racing(Rally, Baja and Short track) was my thing. And I hated everything to do with open wheel winged spaceships. But again my mind has been changed. This mod is very well put together, the cars are sharp and crisp looking. The cockpit view is well done, and each car type has it's own, instead of a clone. And the way they drive is awesome. I will be using the Toro Rosso #16 in any event that runs this mod. And I'm really looking forward to it. Lets put something together.
