congrats to the winner.
early self wreck pushed me to the back and fought back up to 11th
got to race with tenbear and lawyer. i had a pretty tough. but fun battle.
in the end lawyer got by me. for 10th.
and i couldn't keep pace so congrats to him for an awesome drive.

Had a great race going until I pitched it at the top of the hill. Nursed it down to the pits only to have my Fanatec Pedals decide the race was over too!
Had fun with Rich putting good pressure on me the first half of the race and some great back and forth with helios so all in all a fun race for me regardless of the outcome.

Happy with my race, other than my obvious screw up on pit road. My 2nd stop and go penalty in a row (had one last week for cutting the chicane at PIR). Really wanted this one, but oh well...sh!t happens. Congrats to Stinky and Boza for running a very good race and finishing 1 - 2. Hope everyone had a good time and sorry to those who had technical issues. On to Long Beach! |

Hawks gave that one away. He would have easily won that race if it had not been for the stop-and-go. It was a fun race though! I spun it on the mountain early in the race and fell to fourth. Got by Rich when he spun in nearly the same place. I think Hawks was dropping oil! Ran third and caught up to Boza right about time to pit. I had damage to my car so my pit was about three seconds longer than Boza but I finally got by him when he got off track just a bit. Then I took the lead when Hawks made his stop and was able to hang on the last several laps. I really love that track. I have to say I like the RF version better though. I like me softs!!
I think I might need to back off on some of the different series though. My right arm was killing me by the time that one was over and is still bothering me this morning. Like to have never got to sleep last night! Today is going to suck....

Like to have never got to sleep last night! Today is going to suck.... You don't need to run fewer races.....you just need to limit practice!  Fun night last night. I was hoping to be able to pull off a top 5. The race was going pretty well early on, until I whacked the wall and bent the steering a touch. Gambled on not repairing to save some time...don't know if that was the right decision or not. Ended up being about 2 seconds off my pre-wall pace. Had a great battle w/ Kelly after the pit stops that went on for several laps, trading 4th place at least once a lap. After Kelly went off at Skyline, I was just trying to minimize time loss back to Rich in 5th. He caught me a couple laps later. I was able to hold him off for a lap or 2, until he had a run down Conrod and we went through The Chase door to door (one of the few guys I would attempt that with  ), and he was able to make it stick in the left hander, as I ran off slightly trying to come back on the outside. F1 caught up next. Held him at bay for a few laps until he got by at T2 w/ a ricochet pass off the wall. ;D Hey Dale, the outside there is a might slick . Stuck to his bumper until 1 to go, when I spun off in the final corner coming down to the white flag. Got going again and hung onto 6th at the finish. |

Congrats Stinky on the win, but like you said Hawks should of won this race. I guess this is the season to be giving ;D I'll like to thank F1, Rich, Hawks, and Smokey for messing up and letting me get a podium I had no business finishing in 2nd, but I'll take it!! Had a lot of fun last night, made me forget that I was sick and feeling crappy |
