Couple questions,
1. Are you guys going to be doing this regularly?
2. Can I get buy with the base game? Or do I need a bunch of DLC?
3. How do you feel about Bullet Sponges? Because that's me....

Welcome to the club. Smokey, F1 & I are certified sponges. ;D
As for the minimum required, I'll have to let Kelly answer that. I purchased the $60 BF3 Premium which came with a bunch of stuff.

Hey Wolf, Yes we are doing this regularly and the more people we can snag into playing the more fun! Unfortunately you will need the Premium Edition as my server is setup using maps and gameplay modes from Premium. While the Premium Edition is very value packed (all the expansions to date plus the one coming in March as well as Premium only events etc.), if your budget doesn't currently allow it, it does go on sale periodically and I usually post up here when it does. No worries on Bullet Sponges. That is really why I made the decision to rent my own server so that my friends here could have a place to play that was more relaxed in nature. Its all about fun and I keep the maps small on purpose. I keep it infantry only on Team Deathmatch so there are no vehicles to worry about. Hope to see you out. Yeah, I got the Premium Edition super cheap over the holidays.
Wolf, I bought a base BF3 license that I don't need because of the stupid way EA did their Xmas sales. I'm not sure if I can transfer it but I can give you the key to try. If it installs then great, if not, nothing lost.
It only cost me $10... so it's on offer to GBR for free.

I'm going to try to pick up the Premium around the end of the month. That's why I wanted to know if this was going to be a weekly or bi-weekly thing.

Thanks to F1 and Helios for coming out last night. Too bad the co-op portion didnt work.
I plan on being on again this evening for anyone interested. Also just have to throw it out that if you have the game but figure you have to be an ace to play, that is not so. Everyone is welcome to come and play. It's about having fun. The maps are small so te engagements are quick.

Perhaps if we end up with a good number of n00bs one night you could put a password on the server? That guy that joined in last night was working me over like a cat playing with a mouse.  I have a feeling he was just padding his stats with my blood. |

That's probably because me and you haven't learned the maps, and haven't learned to be sneaky like Kelly. I think I was even more of a pin cushion for you and Kelly. 75% of time I wound up face down in the snow, I had no idea where the fire was coming from.
