Minus no triple screen online support...so being the same game does gtl support tripled online? @ knight you guys were riding me about sim add....what sim don't u have know from the past 6yrs? Hey guys. I really love this game. It seems a little bit easier to drive than the HistorX mod in rFactor but I still love it. I've found lots of mods and an unlock code over at NoGrip but can't get any of them to work. Have any of you tried to mod this game at all? I have the Steam version and have heard that it can be modded so I think my problem is my newbness when it comes to this PC stuff. I know it seems redundant to run this sim and HistorX but GTL has a ton of add on cars and tracks that don't exist in HistotX. Anyway, if anybody can help me out it would be great.

I know it seems redundant to run this sim and HistorX but GTL has a ton of add on cars and tracks that don't exist in HistotX. Like what? Many, many GTL/GTR/GTR2 tracks have been converted for rFactor. I'd install it again if there were tracks that made it worthwhile but AFAIK, HistorX took the best of GTL then updated the physics and FFB. That said, I did run GTL with a group of guys in the mid-2000s and it was a blast.

I know I'm new to this but damn these mods look like fun. The guy who posted that video has a second very similar video that will pop up on the list when that one is done. Ill try to post up a link later. Lots and lots of muscle, classic jDM style and euro stuff. The one I'd like most is the Porsche 356B speedster. What a beautiful little car... Sigh. I love the old stuff. But you guys knew that already.
I tried to find tutorials on modding GTL but no luck.

Snappy, I would be interested in knowing how to get the unlock code to work. I don't have the Steam version, I have the digital version that I downloaded as part of the GT Legends revival program for Windows 7 users.

Craig, check out the NoGripRacing forums. In the GTL forum there is a Chet listed under the "Wednesday Night Racing 101" thread. It's called something like that. I could never get it to work but I'm sure it's me not the cheat. The directions are very vague to me. I also can't seem to get cars or tracks to work. Damn I'm dumb! LOL
I get the files into the GTL folder in what I believe are the correct location. The game still works but the cars and tracks don't show up. Frustrating!

Not much interest, I know, but just wanted to post that I've got some of the cars working. Porsche 904 and the Lancia Fulvia. Hey, maybe I'm learning something here.
Track instillation is a little trickier.
