By the way, congrats Knight! Lady Luck is a cruel mistress. It was not a good day to be in a P2 car.

... I made it through to the end to finish the second endurance race of the day, and make Fred and I's Le Mans meetings score 3-0 he he. More by luck than skill, but I'll take what I can get 3-0 ? I must have missed one somewhere unless you are counting the Sebring race earlier this morning, but if not then I guess its 3-0 at Lemans and 2-0 at Sebring Anyways, that was a fun race for me while it lasted. I tried the track out when Kelly first loaded it beginning of Dec. But I seemed to be way off the pace for P2 cars so I let it go thinking I would practice and figure it out during holiday season. As such things go though I never got back to it till today. But eventually thru turning all the downforce off and making radiator and brake ducts small as possible I finally got the thing to go fast, on the straights at least. Oh yes, I also upped the rev limiter, perhaps this contributed to my poor fuel economy Also picked the wrong tires initially but this was fixed at first pit stop. Finally got into a good groove with some really good lap times as it got dark and was able to close up with Boza. Not sure why it does not appear to get too dark on my system, I checked my monitors and they don't have very high brightness settings, etc. Unfortunately then Boza lost his connection. But Kelly had been closing in quickly before I managed to get a couple good laps, and because I was having to pit 1 or 2 laps earlier I think he likely would have been right in there. But I had been messing with my GID layout before the race and had placed the water/oil temp indicator right where the total pit time displayed. So in my 2nd pit stop I adjusted the GID layout to move this. But then when my pit time was elapsed it DQ me Lesson there I guess dont mess with the GID in a pit stop

Forza endurance, Porsche, and today But like I say more by luck than judgement, mostly your bad luck, that DQ was a real shocker.

Just an FYI for everyone that raced today. Given all the technical issues (3 disco, a DQ, etc) and the fact that we had a smaller field today due to some minor game being played, I'm going to ignore the 75% rule and where you placed is where you get points (class of course) including DNF's etc.
Cheers!

Thanks Kelly!
As for my issue during the race, I think it's my router resetting itself. It happened again last night and the Windows logs show the LAN connection dropping on three PCs at the same time.
I don't know why I can't find one of these that will last more than a couple of years. The router I had before this one crapped out after 2-3 years too. Anyway, I power-cycled it last night but maybe it's time to step up to an enterprise class router.
