I was running the Race 07 at R2P and it is quite different to that one...very sticky sand traps on this version.

Yep I know...thought u meant configuration....as for the sand pits stay on the road I was running this track for another mod and those sand pits are in the worst areas....all high speed bends and once your in your not getting out race over

Donnington had sticky sand too, I think we had one driver stuck. Sand should trap you... it's sand!
I'll look around for another version tonight unless someone can point me to one.

I see no need too look for another version....its part of racing I've tried about 3 versions and they all seem to be the same....there really not located that bad only one you really have to watch for is in turn one...I've tried taking the outside line gainst the ai and if u get bumped into it or lock your brakes up its game over...tvhe others if your lucky u can reverse/forward at a low rpm and crawl out

Hmm this is one of those really punishing sandtrap tracks...I don't mind a dramatic loss of speed but I do hate these bring you to a stop and set your car in concrete traps. Still just keep it on the track and don't fight for those high speed corners and hope for the best

I just hope we don't have a finish to lap 1 like I had this past Sunday. I don't know that I've got enough luck to pull that off twice. And the Sierra is next up in the Bastos rotation.....probably not the best car for the track. I predict lots of boost induced tail chasing. ;D

May not be able to run, for some reason my wheel keeps switching over to PS3 mode about ten minutes into a session. It still turns the wheel, but I lose all my mapped buttons. Any ideas?
