I use the Flip HD , this camers has only zoom so I have no idea about those settings you need to tweak. This is how I setup my camera and the tv need to be close to the wheel like is your windshield.

I am proof positive that more expensive gear does not equal speed. It does improve the immersion factor.

"Expensive doesn't always mean better". Also expensive gear doesn't always mean better immersion, like this guy sitting on the roof of the car? Nice immersion, I call that a f... up immersion. This is a real immersion with a low cost, enjoy

;D Fantomas. Love it! We were actually talking about wheels and setups at work. Co-workers think I'm nuts with my setup.....I just snicker....."You should see some of the other guys..."

My racing "immersion" has limits. Computer, chair, and wheel cost is sitting a hair under 2k and that is really my ceiling. While a full on motion setup would be cool, for that kind of money it goes to real racing on my bike! Ultimately it doesn't matter if you spend $200 or $20,000. If you enjoy it and it fits your budget, who is anyone to say that it's wrong or over the top?

If you enjoy it and it fits your budget, who is anyone to say that it's wrong or over the top? Exactly. If you start feeling gear envy.....ask yourself this one question. Are you having fun? As long as the answer is "yes", that is all that matters. Everything else is second fiddle. I enjoy what I have...but if all I had was an old used wheel clamped to a desk and sitting in an office chair, I'd still be racing because I enjoy it...and the camaraderie here. If you asked me a year and half ago if I would be in this deep in sim racing.....I would've told you you're smoking crack. I just pick up a piece here and there when I can.

I am very happy how I managed so much immersion with that money. I just need a H shifter and clutch to have more fun, I am looking right now for a G27. This is another cool camera setup
