Every time I start my wheel it lights up in PS3 mode, even though I start it in PC. Last night I got it to start right, but about ten minutes into the session it switch to PS3 mode. I can still turn the wheel, but I lose all my mapped buttons.
Any Ideas?

likely you already tried this but if not, unplug all the cables and then replug them in at same time verify they are all connected as should be for PC. Do you use clubsport pedals and if so do you connect directly to PC or thru the wheel? I connect my CSP direct to PC, but for PS3 use they need to connect thru the wheel and a couple times I have forgotten to switch this around when going between PS3 and PC and it has resulted in some strange wheel behaviour. Also at least once I plugged my fanatec h-shifter into the pedal connection on the wheel and this was not good Not sure about the GT2 but my CSR starts up defaulted into PC mode. I don't think there is any way to change that on mine. And then is like a 2 button combo to get it switched into PS3 mode. I think the CSW? had a recent firmware update that made switching to PS3 mode easier, not sure if is relevant to the GT2 but have you updated the firmware recently?

Are you using the latest rF1 build they are testing? There seems to be some issues with that one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for today as I have been forced to move on to it. I know there have been some FFB issues and it could be related.

At least your wheel isn't rebooting after a 90 degrees turn either left OR right like my PWTS does..

I suggest you re-install the firmware.

@ OSF, it is supposed to be a two button PS3 set up, and a one button PC. I wonder if I plug the peddles into the wheel and it switches, if they would still work.
@ KoR, I have the DVD version of the game.
@ Lawyer, I will have to do that, did not think about it.

Updated Firmware, Reinstalled latest drivers. Still lights up for PS3, but seems to be working with the PC anyway. I have no idea why the PS3 lights are on.

My PWTS always did this as well, but worked on the PC anyway.
