Hey guys. I have a problem with my V1 Clubsport pedals. With regard to my set up, I hook up the Clubsport pedals directly to my PC via a USB port and I hook up the T500 wheel and THR8S separately via separate USB ports. Everything has worked fine until the last few weeks. A few weeks ago, I started a race on iRacing and my pedals went dead. No gas, no brake. I exited out of the race and went back in and the pedals worked fine. I have done dozens of races since then with no problems. Fast forward to last night. I ran two iRacing qualifying sessions with no problems. When I got ready to start the Class A fixed qualifying session, the pedals went dead again, no gas, no brake. I exited out of iRacing and checked the driver. The pedals were there. The gas worked fine, but when I pressed the brake pedal, I could only get about a half a bar in the driver, even if I pressed really hard. I tried disconnecting and re-connecting the pedals. No change, they were dead. I also tried rebooting the computer and again, no change.
Any idea what could be going on? I am still within my Fanatec two year warranty and so I can probably get help from them.

Mine do that in rFactor from time to time. In fact, it happened last night for the first time in a while. I just have to exit the game to get them back. As far as only half a brake pedal, when mine did that, it turned out to be a bad load cell.

Not sure about the disconnecting issue, I only run my pedals through my wheel. I think Stinky is right about the brake. Mine did the same thing not too long ago and it was also the load cell. Make a video showing what the pedals do on the Fanatec properties program and contact Fanatec support. You know the drill, you have been there before.

Craig, let me know if you want to borrow one for troubleshooting. I've got a couple spares I picked up when I ordered my GT3RS.

Craig, let me know if you want to borrow one for troubleshooting. I've got a couple spares I picked up when I ordered my GT3RS. Thanks. I think I am OK, since I bought a spare a while ago and have not used it. I no longer believe I have a hardware issue with the Clubsports. Rather, based on my experience last night, I think it was an iRacing issue. I ran the pedals last night for Spazcar and they worked fine. After we finished Spazcar, I went into iRacing and noticed that some control calibration was needed for the pedals AND my T500 and THR8S shifter. After I calibrated everything again, including the pedals, I experienced no additional problems. iRacing seems to be sensitive to changes in wheels, pedals and/or shifters (and most likely button boxes). And, I have lately been changing my controls because I switched my THR8S to the H shifter mode. It is very possible on Monday night that I modified my shifter after the Class C qualifying race which in turn caused iRacing to bunk the pedal settings. So, in the future, before I blame Fanatec for my problems, I should double check and see if iRacing has caused the wheel, pedals and/or shifter settings to be changed.
