Great short track racing tonight on the tiny oval in Nova Scotia. Rough night for the main series regulars, but good to see some of the newcomers shine. Sheldon didn't diassapoint and put on a good show on his home track. Jeff still carries the series lead, but after his performance at home tonight...Sheldon is nipping at his heels. And how about the thunder from down under! Greg Dawson comes in for his first serious attempt in the Home Town series and was the driver to beat tonight. A heat win and a Flag to Flag win in the main, shows he can race the roundy rounds ...even if they are going the wrong direction. Next week the series moves to central Canada and to Flamboro speedway the home track of Ian Johansen. Will he dominate the track , or will Jeff storm back and have a good showing like his did last season? Only way to know is watch this post next week, or better yet...get the mod installed and come participate! See you all at Flamboro!

Great racing at Flamboro! Jeff Hooper took 2 of the 3 events and some serious bonus points to boot. Congrats to Greg Connelley for nabbing a win in the second heat! With one race to go, question is, will Jeff have his padded lead enough now to carry him to the Home Town Street Stock Division Title? We'll Have to see this week at Delware. Podium saw couple WA boys in the main, and some strong performance by others in the heats. This has been some really good racing! Season finale on Tuesday! Qualifiying, extended heat races and extended main will wrap the Street Stock series up and the first part of the Home Town Championship. Who is going to take it? We'll see on Tuesday. What an exciting finish to the Street Stock division of Spazcar Home Town Season 2! Jeff came into the finale race well ahead in the lead , but the story tonight was ALL Chris Sherburn, while he did give up the first race to Ian Johansen who got his second win of the season, Chris nabbed the pole , a heat race and the main going Flag to Falg , even with a few cautions in the mix. Chris dominated at Delaware and picked up an impressive 9 bonus points in the course of the event, from pole awards to fastest laps and leading the most laps. He was a man on a mission tonight , having Jeff in his sights and wanting a crack at the division championship. OH BOY! Did he come close ....when it was all said and done, Jeff walks away with the Street stock Division Championship....by 1 point!!! Wow was that not close or what! Amazing! Great job by all the drivers today and their participation is greatly appreciated as always!
The Home Town series now takes a break as the Drivers move over to the Nationwide series. The series will pick back up again after the NWS session, see you all there as we'll be playing in the dirt!
