www.thesimfactory.com/main hey guys I just bought this to race with a buddy...I have two choices..one sell a copy ( it was buy one get one free) or a rebate of 15.00 Anyone interested. 20 bucks ( I'll even give you 5 off) to my paypal? Let me know. The sim is 50 to buy. The league I joining runs the arca cars tuesday night before spazcar and the truck on sunday. I've seen these races pop up for ARCA a few times on R2P and was contemplating trying it. Do you get all the cars and tracks or do you have to purchase additional content?

Its NASCAR and its not in beta and so I am interested. If Hawks decides not to buy in, I will.

Maybe I should instead focus my attention on improving my time at Homestead with the Nationwide car? I was atrocious last night, started 4th and got 19th, with no cautions or incidents, just crappy driving.

I tried that B Homestead combo last night too. I didn't race, just practiced and like you I am way slower than everyone else, I'm about a second off the pace. I don't know how these guys are going so much faster than us with a fixed setup.

I then could have watched it from the vantage point of the fast guys.

It's much easier to overdrive Homestead than it is at other 1 1/2 mile tracks because homestead does not have a dogleg front straight, which makes the turn radius tighter. Add to that the banking is less than most 1 1/2 circuits. Easy on entry, fast off is how you pick up some time, especially on long runs.

I did some research in the forums last night and read the same pointers. I went into a practice session and was able to get my best time down to a respectable, but still slow, 32.4. I intend to keep working on it. I have never done Homestead with the Nationwide car and so I am learning a lot. I had never done the Milwaukee Mile with the Nationwide car either, but I worked on it a lot during Week 12 of Season 4 and by my last race, I was getting somewhat fast.

This sim is actual a research and seriously tweaked version of rFactor, easy and nice to play with, but oh...man tires in this are like freaking dead on. Vhr has way to much grip , iracing is well..never felt like it right tires to be honest , but this one feels rights and the temps behave correctly.

meh...didn't go so well, good drivers that have alot of time under their belt with the mod. Thought i'd be nice and drift high in turn 3 and just pick up the year , only to scrub on the wall, lose the pack for most of the race THEN spinout and hit the back wall UNDER caution...night was ruined,. I got repairs and all as they only run 50% but aero wise i was a turtle...oh well , next sunday is there shootout. A little more comfortable with the guys now and the mod, so .... fuck being considerate
