I have no memory of ever running this car (it appears I used it to Fast Track then never ran it again) but my stats say I've done a 30.397 here

Fun stuff tonight. I slowly closed the door on poor Jeff coming out of the last corner otherwise he would've nabbed 4th.
I had to get out of the gas to stay off the wall then dropped back to the racing line, Jeff had momentum but I wasn't going to risk a spin to deviate off that line. Sorry.
Heads up to those that took part in the usual post-race GBR wrecking. Because we have some new guys I should point out that incident penalties continue to acculumate until the last driver crosses the line. Do it in a private league session and you just skew the points shown in the results... do it in an Official Race and you'll affect SR for both drivers.
I'd suggest our League races end the same way as Official races... pull off in a safe place and ESC.

Thanks Craig. Talk about timing. No sooner did i left Teamspeak then did the phone ring and i just spent the last hour and a half pulling a mazda 3 out of a brick wall. 17 yr old kid street racing. Car is destroyed, i mean they had the cut the roof to get him out. How is is he? slight scratch on his forehead..that's it. Amazing. It sounded like good racing back there, and lots of fun. I know i kinda checked out a bit, i did play some tire management strategy and Craig would get close then i'd pick it up again. And i don't mean that in a smart ass way. One thing i learned about iRacing, get the tires hot (that only takes 4 laps to do) and you go slower. Don't push it every lap and you'll go faster. Kinda the opposite in a way then how VHR is. Looking forward to the next event and the car and track combo. I'm good with same car, even if it a short track...since this is a points series event now??? that might not be a bad idea. Course i've got no objection to the street stocks either

I had a blast! iRacing is a beautiful game, the graphics are just Awesome!!
Overall I believe I had a third place car, but I was getting really shitty restarts. You guys were killing me there and I haven't figured out why yet.. I made the late pit stop and thought it would be an advantage but everyone was so close in lap times that it was really hard to make much progress. Thought I had a clean pass on Dale "Earnhardt" Green on the last lap but we touched doors and I went spinning. It was nobody's fault, just good close racing which is how it should be! I'll get ya next time Dale!
Thanks for hosting Craig!! Where is the next one? I'm hooked so I'm def willing to buy any track!!

i think me FOV needs adjusting closer to dash but had fun ;D Yeah, the bottom of the tach is touching the bottom bezel of my monitor in my view... in fact the 5K mark (I think) might just be off the bottom of the screen.

Glad you guys had fun. I will post another thread shortly for our next oval race. I would like to stick with base content for at least another month in order to give guys that just signed up again to catch their breath. That means that the oval track choices are as follows:
Lanier Thompson Speedway USA Speedway Oxford Point
I will run the National car on each of these and will report back. In the meantime, what say you?
