I'm looking for some folks to add to my list of myRacers. I like to see what kinds of times people are running. Something to base my test sessions off of. My iRacing name: David Tejada
Ran a race with Greg (Rustybelly) last night in the mx5 at Watkins Glen. It was great. We battled back and forth quite a bit.

Thanks Bro, I was pissed when I spun at the end of lap two but I gathered it up and fought back. Glad that I stayed on the lead lap. Great running with you again. I'm digging the SRF but I don't have the track it's currently being run on.

If you don't have iRacing, now is the time to get it. 1/2 off new memberships only. Not sure how long this promotion will last. www.iracing.com/membership/

If your iRacing subscription is running out, now is the time to renew for 1/2 off. Offer good until December 4th. Edit: How I get iRacing for $3 per year. I race enough each season to get the $10 credits. Plus I get the $5 yearly credit. So that is $45 per year. I always make sure I have plenty of iRacing Dollars and Credits when they have the $100 for $75 deals. So I just renewed for $49. $45 of that came from my participation and yearly credits. The other $4 came from my iRacing Dollars which I got at 25% off so in reality I only paid $3 for a 1 year subscription. That is less than 1 penny per day. Who says iRacing is too expensive?

The person that hasn't raced for a yr in 3 series 4 times a yr to get the season credits and still has to pay for all the content needed to get the 8 of 12 race min to qualify for the credits After that than ya its pretty cheap if your dedicated and have the time lol They really need to do an annual content sale or lower there pricing to draw more fans and make it fees able for new comers. Spend $25 to get $5 sale once a yr is no major deal. $49 on sale for there subscription I can justify as no other Sims multiplayer structure compares. I look at the amount of money I've spent in iracing as a future investment as the game has made some major advancements over the past 2yrs. Hopefully it will make a move to dx11 and get a few features that some of the other newer Sims are incorporating and 1 or 2 big licenses to an official series for the road side

Yeah, I think the cost complaints are content related. I am trying to do a race or two every week either in the SRF or Star Mazda. I am really happy to see the improvements in the last year or so. I have been having very enjoyable races.
On Sunday I started 18th of 19 in the top SM split. Wound up finishing 5th. That was a ton of fun.

The upfront cost is huge and you guys are correct that it is the content. But once you have the cars and tracks, it is dirt cheap, assuming you get the $10 in credits per season.

iRacing has the deal for bonus credits right now. It is good until March 31st. Here is the official announcement on the iRacing site:
Purchase $20 of iRacing credits and get $25 total credits and/or purchase $75 of iRacing credits and get $100 total credits.
To get $100 credits for only $75 click here.
To get $25 credits for only $20 click here.
When you click the links above the promotion codes will automatically be added to your shopping cart. You just need to complete the checkout process. iRacing credits and dollars have equal value to members and are only different for internal accounting purposes. iRacing credits and iRacing dollars can be used to purchase content, membership renewals or hosted sessions.
*Offer valid through March 31, 2015. Member may use each promo code only once. iRacing credits or iRacing dollars cannot be used to purchase these iRacing credits. Offer and credits are not transferable.
This is a great way to add an additional 20% or 25% discount on everything you purchase at iRacing. I take advantage of these deals at least once a year. I want to make sure I always have credits in my account for when new content releases. This way I have already saved 25%, plus the 30% I get for being in the 100% club means I get everything at 47.5% off. That's a good deal no matter who you are.
