You can switch it to metric, you know. Not at the PC right now so I can't tell you where that option is...

Just picked up Phillip Island, Interlagos, the C6.R and the MP4-12C.
I also emailed iRacing to see if there are any renewal deals as my one month is coming up for renewal and given I've already dropped over $150 on the game, it makes sense to continue with it! ;D
Cheers!

I have really taken to the Vette, so much so that I haven't really messed with the McLaren or the Ford GT yet. I did some practice with it last night for about an hour around Interlagos (beautiful track by the way). Running mid 1:31's to 1:32's with the fixed tune. I may try running a race this weekend if I have the time. Should be interesting with the faster Prototypes and the slower Ford GT. Can you say "Nervewracking".

Be ready to take a SR hit running either GT car in the prototype race. Both times I have ran that race in the Corvette I have been rear ended by a prototype driver for a 4X contact. The speed and handling difference is just too much for some people to handle. The prototypes braking distance is just so much shorter than the GTs and they are traveling faster going into the braking zone. They come up behind you going into a turn expecting you to use the same braking points as them, then they plow into you when you hit the brakes so much earlier than they expect. I don't have the prototype yet, I plan to get it with my next iRacing purchase. Then I will run the prototype race using the prototype and learn from others mistakes and try not to rear end the GT cars. The other Multiclass races I have run have been ok and I usually don't like multiclass racing. My favorite is the GT challenge, those cars have very little difference. The Grand-Am Sports Car series is also fun. I have run that race using the McLaren several times. The Rileys are faster and corner better, but it's not a huge difference like the prototype race. I haven't been hit by a Riley yet in that race.

Sorry i missed the oval event last night went out with the wife, ill only be able attending ovals when base content is used......as fun as it is iam a road racer and concentrating on purchasing the road content first. ATM i just need 4 more tracks to complete the road circuits and ill eventually buy the riley and prototype....i cant wait for the honda/kia and the 4 british tracks! Can a league create official events or are those just organized by iracing?

Before I headed out I took the C6.R and MP4-12C to both Phillip Island and Interlagos. Both tracks are just stunning. Having just run PI for the NAGT race, the visuals are like night and day. I loved both cars at both tracks and I am looking forward to getting more seat time in them.
Cheers!

Can a league create official events or are those just organized by iracing? No worries regarding last night. My goal is to tailor the GBR iRacing series to demand from you guys. I am happy running anything in iRacing, base content or not. I get my iRacing fix from the official series. When I run with you guys, its about fun and making sure you are satisfied. The next oval series race on March 21 is base content for the track, USA Speedway, but we are continuing with the National Impala, which most of you already have. I would be OK with continuing with base content beyond March, if that is what you guys want. I also am looking at how Wolf's forthcoming GT series will affect turnout for the GBR iRacing oval series. If you guys prefer to run the GT series over the GBR iRacing oval series, its no problem. I will cancel the oval series if that is the GBR preference. Official series events are organized by iRacing alone. We cannot create official series events, only league sessions, where iRating and/or SR are not in play. We only can compete for points.
