This beta driver is still working well. Crysis 2 is running better on my machine. I can run it fully maxed and get 50-60 FPS with my sli'd 560tis. Sent from my HTC One X using ProBoards |

I reverted to the WHQL driver. My random lockups started happening in iRacing. Then I realized that my PC was getting stuck for about a minute when rebooting or shutting down (which is an eternity when you have a SSD boot drive). That right there is a warning sign of a bad driver.
Back on the WHQL now and Windows shuts down properly. I don't think the drivers for the 600-series cards were ready for primetime.

I also ended up going back to the WHQL driver. It screwed up something in my video rendering which would not allow me to finish editing the highlights. All seems good again for the time being.

ok since i bought my 670 yesterday i could not get the PC to even recognise it  so it was annoying me so i took whole PC to where i bought all the components. so i just got off the phone with them and they said my pcie x16 has died x8 still works but they are going to replace the mobo for me & upgrade it at same time. they have been really good tbh as there is no charge at all so hopefully i get it back today as my slow arse lappy is shitting me to tears.. |

I have 304.48 installed and it runs great. I just did a re-install of my OS on my gaming PC and do not want to mess with a good thing for a while. 304.79, the new beta driver, does not offer enough improvements and fixes to cause me to want to upgrade to it.
I am glad to see Windows 8 support already coming from Nvidia. This is a good sign IMO. I am running Windows 8 on one of the hard drives in my desktop PC and I like it. Its fast, and the metro interface is cool. I like that we can run apps right off the desktop, like we already can do with tablets. I already have a couple of apps I regularly use, including Tom's Hardware.

ive gone back to WHQL as i was having trouble with one website (Nvidia Geforce) weirdly where i got my updates whenever i hit the auto part so it would recognise my card IE would freeze havent tried it since i got WHQL driver

I have updated to the latest, so far so good. rF2 seems to be performing better, still not what I expect from a latest gen sim...but I mutter beta to myself and hope the next release pleases the eyes a little more. rF1 unaffected in any way. Smokey still using IE? I suppose someone has to  |

lol ya ive tried & dont like any of the others lol My concerns about internet security ensure I put that first, consequently I use Comodo Dragon through their own servers, as safe as you can be in this day and age. I just don't want my every key press, search etc monitored. |

aahhh i could care less if im being monitored lol i dont do anything illegal so watch all they want. i have nothing valuable on me pcs just porn lol i even use outlook for mail lol Neither do I, it is much more than that but this is not the time or place...pCars? well it's still a couple of weeks till I can try and download that again so maybe it will be sorted by then. |

Yeah, it's 777 MB and updates 0226 to 0246. Unfortunately I don't think there's a 0245-> 0246 updater unless Hawks or Lawyer corrects me.
