First, Thanks to everyone that come out for the series. I was very pleased that for the most part we saw consistantly a field of 10 or so drivers. That was nice Hopefully we'll see even more for the next session
Wow...what a finish to the first leg of the series. Chris (Helios) came to Delaware and owned it. Nicely done! Not only did win the pole and two of the 3 races ( I actually picked up one, though it could have been a sweep for Chris if i had made one serious mistake) but he cleaned up in the bonus points. That made for some very very interesting totals at the end of the first session for the Home Town series.
Jeff Hooper took the Street stock Division Title, but barely! By one point Jeff pulled it out! Now with the scoring confusion @ Flamboro and me not being able to get all the data, I did the best i could with what i had. Maybe it wasn't that close but at any rate it is what it is and big congrats goes out to Jeff for once gain securing a Title , but more so for being consistantly out front when it counted. We knew Delaware was gonig to be tough for him and it sure proved to be. with Chris bringing his A game tonight , man what a finish to the division. I nailed a third overall.
So with all that excitement still hanging in the air we move on to the NWS on VHR. I think with the adjusted points system and the steady running of the same mod week after week instead of flip flopping it turned out to be some great action and even more fun. The Home Town series goes on hiatus , but we'll be back with an undetermined dirt mod for the next round. There will be plenty of advanced warning so that skins can be painted, teams assigned(if you want) can be setup and a complete, drop into a lite install and go, download option available.
Thanks again everyone, and hopefully Spazcar is proving you with a fun yet competitive venue to participate in on a weekly basis. It's what I strive for
