Has anyone tried this yet? I wonder if it works?
In the Multiplayer.ini, there is this line.
Request Autodownloads="0" // Set to 1 if you want to automatically download files from a server you are joining, if you do not already have them.
If this works, wouldn't it be handy?
Maybe not for mods, that would take to long. But for tracks.. Say I forgot to download the correct track or skins that are on the server. If this works, it would get them for me.
Also has this line.
Enable Autodownloads="0" // Whether to allow clients to autodownload files that they are missing.

I don't think that ever worked in rF1... just like there are INI entries related to in-game chat. It's being heralded as new and shiny in rF2 with no references to rF1.

N o it was a good idea...I like with my Arca Sim guys that the TS server reminds you to update as soom as you log on and the files are there to download if you right click of the dvision folder...so like spazcar would its own , v8 would have it own , ansd so forth

I have rfactor2, and have tried the 'Get Mod' feature. Its still not quite right. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Its a nice feature when it works. I hope they fix it by launch. I never knew rf1 even had such an option in the ini files.
