As if I needed another sim, last night I signed up for Auto Club Revolution's closed beta. I got my beta key this morning. Insidesimracing.tv did a first look and this sim looks very promising. They call it Forza or GT5 for PC. Check it out at www.autoclubrevolution.com. The developer is Eutechnyx, the same guys that did NASCAR the Game 2011. I will post my initial impressions once I do the install and try it out.

I got a beta key from them awhile back, but never signed up. Just not enough hours in the day. I'll be curious to get your feedback on the game. I've had a bitter taste with Eutechnyx since they totally screwed up NASCAR the Game last year.

My guess is that they had some pressure from Activision to release the game, even though it clearly was not ready. The FFB problems were inexcusable.

I was asked to review the gamr from sandbox studio. They gave me a key with good amount of content. Im there as torntv. Tinkered a little bit. Slightly unintuitive at the begging but once you start digging in you can find mostly what you need. So far..yes its like a mixed bag of gt5 forza and iracing formula thrown in a blender. So far the concoction doesn't taste bad... I will have my review up in a couple weeks Sent from my SPH-D710 using proboards
