Date: March 21, 2013 Time: 6:30pm PST Car: National Impala (not included in base package) Track: USA Speedway (included in base package) Warm Up: 80 minutes, starts at 6:30pm PST Qualifying: 5 minutes, 4 laps, starts at 7:50pm PST Race: 35 minutes, starts at 7:55pm PST Tune: Fixed iRacing Tune Fast Repairs: 1 (this is a change, see below)
Keep in mind that we will have to start on time, since there is no way I can change the start times once we are in the sim. You can be late for warm up and can come and go as you please. I don't know whether you can come in once qualifying begins so don't risk it. This will be a rolling start.
Please note that the National Impala is our car of choice for the foreseeable future for our Thursday oval series, with us only changing the tracks for each event, ala V8 Supercars.
Also, please note that I have changed the rules to 1 fast repair only. The reason for this is that I want to encourage careful, prudent driving, while still allowing guys to reasonably make mistakes but still get back into the race and the action. Although we had a fun time during our last oval race, I think we were a little too casual in allowing folks to wreck and not face any sort of consequences.

Spaz and I were the only attendees for the oval one off event tonight and so we scrapped tonight's race. We will pick it up next month on March 21, if Wolf does not schedule a Mustang or GT series for that night. If he schedules either for that night, I will cancel the oval event.

Hm, this combo of car/track requires a little practice and finesse!

Good deal guys. I might not be on until after 7pm. I have a work function that I am attending after work.

I was planning to run this one, but I had some stuff to take care of this morning so I couldn't get to work early. I will be there on Sunday for the GT race though.

I am going to cancel the series guys, we only had four guys last night and that is not enough to have a good oval race. Earlier this month we only had two guys for our oval one off race at Michigan. We will continue with the iRacing road races.
