I remember seeing a post by someone who said they had stalled their car and had a biatch of a time getting it started again.
I mapped the Starter function to my wheel but it doesn't seem to actually start the car while in the garage.
I would like to avoid any surprises come race time so any pointers?
Cheers!

Select Auto-clutch in the aids (it's the only assist I won't turn off) and it's virtually impossible to stall. You should have a button mapped to Clutch though. If you do stall, hold it in and wait for the car to restart in a second or two. I have never had to manually start a car in this game.

Excellent info! I had the auto-clutch enabled already but will do the rest. I just keep loving this game more and more.. good tire wear, fuel that actually gets used up, damage, pits... its like I said last night... Forza has eye candy and rFactor has everything else.
Cheers!

the reason it takes so long to start, after you stall i,t is that its fuel injected, it takes about 6 sec, to re fire the car in nutreal. this is kinda like the new system that the Nascars will be using they say it will be at least a 4 sec delay. to refire the car. kind of a bummer if you dont know what to look for.
