Hey guys,
Server is live though I haven't had a chance to log on and test. I have to get some sleep so I'll test tomorrow sometime before I go on shift.
Apologies it took so long for me to get to this. Been a hectic week to say the least.
Cheers!

All I gotta do is finish to be champion. If my PC crashes during this race I will be prepared in advance with something beside me to rage-destroy so that I don't throw my headset though a monitor.

I hear that. I know I used to really loathe my ex but as they say, time heals all wounds so now I only hate her. I imagine in another 10 years or so it will just be a strong dislike. Cheers!

Race is tonight. Better bring your A-game because Rich and the crew have been practicing and putting down some pretty quick lap times as a group.
Last race of the season for NAGT so lets see a great turnout.
Cheers!

I'm just hoping for a near mistake free race tonight. Either way I am sure it will be fun.

Thanks for picking a better track for tonight Kelly, but I wont be able to attend. Family calls, have to make another trip to Austin this afternoon. That's two in one week.

Shoot, so my Halo team for the 2O2P tourny has decided tonight is the best night for them. We are kicking off at 6pm...so I'm hoping it will wrap up in time. I'll load in the server, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to make the start of the race from the grid. Hopefully worst case it will let me start from the pits...even if I'm a few laps down. I guess we'll find out.
Keeping my fingers crossed that I can get finished up in time.

Nice racing everyone. I was in protection mode and just trying to not bin it. I drove off the track and spun once each when I started thinking about work. Reminder to the new drivers... most GBR races that require a pit stop(s) will also require a minimum of one 4-tire change. I think I heard a few guys not taking tires I don't think it mattered much tonight though. Always check the first post in a race thread for pit rules and other details. I'm looking forward to next Wed. B season (what ever the cars turn out to be) with the new members participating in a full championship!

Outstanding finish to the series tonight. As usual helios and I battled it out at the end and I was in full on defensive line protection for the final laps!
We both made mistakes in the final laps that just seemed to make it that much more interesting. The door to door drag race down the front straight was freaking amazing.
Thanks for coming out everyone!
Cheers!

Those last few laps made the whole race worth it. There was a couple times I was fully alongside, but backed out to prevent one of us from going off at T1. That is a nasty corner to try to take side by side.

Here is the video.
Quick setup: helios is in the Pratt/Miller and I'm in the Whelen. I go a hair wide which sets up a good drive for helios on the final turn.
I'm REALLY glad you backed out because about the start/finish line I said to myself "NOT backing out of this one. Going to brake hard but I'm going to keep it!"
I agree that the last laps absolutely made the race for me.
Cheers!
