Awesome racing last night guys. Congrats to Rich on the win. I had a 3rd place finish in the bag until I came up a half a lap short of fuel on the last lap, so congrats to the podium finishers.
Boza got the jump on me into turn one on the start so I followed him for a few laps or so until he slipped in turn 6, great racing Boza. Then on the same lap later I slipped up and Pat and Tony went by. Went from 3rd to 2nd then back to 4th all in the same lap. Tony went off exiting the carousel, so now back to 3rd and chased down Pat. Rich had pitted and I passed Pat going into turn 1, we diced hard for the lead until Pitstops.
Coming down to the end I decided to come in 2 laps earlier then I planned and was going to bump up the fuel also. But instead of increasing enough fuel for mor elaps I only clicked it up twice just increasing fractions of a gallon instead...............DOH!!
As for the tires that guys were talking about I think it was just which stop they took tires on, all of the TUM guys knew to make a 4 tire stop at least once. I think North took tires twice even.

Congrats to Rich on your win. Yep - we're on board, we change tires. I was hoping for Boza to make another stop but noooo... jumped in late and wasn't warm for qually so I just put stickies on and 2 laps of gas and went for it. didn't do as good as i could of. Just dealt with it. Again - even with the practice I put into it, I should of thought about the possibility of having to pit more than once so i stressed out and fumbled with the pit menu enough to screw up my rhythm enough to loose valuable time. Nice racing Kevin for those 5 or so laps - other than that it I was pretty alone. I'll take 3rd even if it was a gift. Also, Thanks for letting me participate here. I promise you can invite us over and (at least speaking for myself) I won't steal your girl friend looking forward to more racing.

Yea that was a great time. Yea second stop I put 8 laps of fuel, and tires I knew after KJ left the pits, and I still had a long time left that I should not have taken the second set of tires. Sorry to see KJ run out of fuel. Im pretty sure I was running with the points leader a few times which was making me nervous the last thing I wanted to do was mess up somebodys championship. Thanks for letting me run with you guys it was fun.

I am pretty sure we all took tires. Upnorth would be the only one that might not have known. you might have heard some talking about not taking tires on one of their stops.
Great race by all! BOZA almost had it. Everyone said, including BOZA, that they would need 2 stops. Then come to find out he was LYING! After we hit lap 23 I kind of figured it out and really had to start pushing him. He got loose in T-2 on the last lap and I was able to get by. Good, Close stuff.
Thanks for hosting and hope to see this series back again.

I know GID and rFactor all calculated that it would be two stops but when I hit lap 11 and I still had 3 laps worth of fuel on board, I adjusted my fuel load before hitting the pits and one stopped it.
I was on fumes coming in on the first stop but was fine for the second stint.
Cheers!

I was able to 1-stop...barely.
I had about 5L of fuel on board at the stop, topped off the tank & had less than 5L at the finish...after short shifting for 3 or 4 laps when fuel was looking iffy. Once I got to 3 laps to go and saw I had enough fuel to make it to the finish it was game on.

Under 2L remaining at the first stop (GID was accurate for me) and I finished with 5L or so. I had the tire wear under control... I think if that race was 1x fuel then I'd have no-stopped it.

I think if that race was 1x fuel then I'd have no-stopped it. I would love to have seen how your pit crew would have managed a 4 tire change on the fly!!

My racecraft was terrible last night. Spun it about 5 times and was on the wrong end of the speed charts. Changed tires twice when I really didn't need too. Especially knowing after the fact that you could make it one stop. Not sure if it is the car, setup or the driver that is most at fault. Ok I know it's mostly the driver.
All that being said I enjoy the mod and more importantly the competitors. Congrats to Rich on the win.

Congrats Rich on the win and to F1 for the championship. @ Rich....hell yeah I lied! LOL. You guys are fast and if you guys were going to 2 stop it, then by all means I'm not going to persuade you not to .
