Guys could you give me the heads up via PM about any issues that you may come across, particularly F1 and any hosting issues. Will do.

I may or may not be able to make it tonight. I ended up re-formatting my hard drive last night due to the T500 driver issue that I could not resolve. I have a fresh Windows 7 install up and running, and my wheel, pedals and shifters are installed. I was able to also get iRacing going again. I then turned to rFactor 2, but I am getting error messages that say that most of my mods, primarily the stock ISI mods, are "damaged." When I try to run the game, it crashes. When I get home tonight, I am going to reinstall rFactor 2, but I don't know whether I can get it done in time for our race. I will certainly try, I have been looking forward to this race for a while now.

Big windstorm here right now. If I disappear or don't make the start, you know why.
You guys might have to advance/vote your way through the night. The server is in a datacentre on the other side of the country so it's safe!

Thank you F1 for hosting. Another fun GBR RF2 race last night, I can see that RF2 is going to just get better and better and be the sim of choice for me. Just a few things; if we run these again maybe turn the damage down even further they seem to be quit fragile and is an issue when close racing others. And here is a note for the RF2 inside guy; I and the other TUM guys noticed in race last night that the position dot indicator at least on the bar at the bottom would be incorrect and change. I was in 3rd but it said I was 4th but clearly showed my dot ahead of the guy behind me which said was 3rd. But this would seem to change as I crossed the start line flipping me back to 3rd then the next time sector line flip me back to 4th. Also in the HUD the time gaps shown to in front and behind would flip around the same.

Thank you F1 Fan for hosting. Such a shame you couldn't join in. Hope you fix the PC.... Congrats to all who participated. I was happy with the fact I started with a 32 and got it down to a low 25 by the end of the night. Was no threat to anyone and if anything a challenge for people to pass. Really didn't get a handle on the car but did figure out I was babying it. I'm so used to driving 'hockey pucks' LOL Looking for more fun in rF2 - thanks again for the race

You're all welcome. I was glad to see the turnout last night. That's more than we get for some regular races! I ran some laps offline and was still crashing. It's probably time for a clean install anyway. This PC hasn't has rF2 installed fresh for 4 months or so. I tried to remove TrackMap before our race and there's a chance I simmed something. A new install will be good for that and I can force everything into a single folder too. That's a good observation about the timing above. I can't read this HUD font easily (I've been spoiled by GID/TrackMap) so I was ignoring that data. The next event was planned to be one of the other open wheel cars at an oval but I need to test before makign that official and yes, I'll turn damage down.

Thanks for hosting that event. That was fun. I could go for a series with those cars. My apologies to Tony again for the last lap incident. Never want to see that happen to a teammate. It was a real blast up until that point though.

Looks like I really missed out! I had every intention on attending but life got in the way. Hopefully I will make one soon.

Thanks for hosting F1. I am sorry I bailed early, I could not get my car to shift into reverse and by the time someone was kind enough to knock me off the wall, I had burned up my tranny. I suspect that reverse was set for some other button and I just could not figure out which one. Oh well, such is life.
