As some of you may know, I have been having a good time running the IndyCar fixed oval series. Last night I got my first win at Indianapolis. I had a decent qual time and was in the second split so I started in second. Once we got up to speed, I was running 3rd. We didn't even complete the first lap before the first caution came out. After the restart, we had another caution about 2 laps later. I was still in 3rd. During the caution, the first place driver lost connection which allowed me to move up to the pole position. I got a got a good start and held the lead till the next caution about 5 laps later. After that, the race went green to the end.
I was running 1st with 2nd place hot on my tail. He finally got a run on me with about 5 laps to go and got the inside line going into turn 1. There is no room for 2 cars there, so I had to back off and let him go, but I stayed on him. On the final lap, I got the run on him and got inside going into turn 1. He decided not to back off and our tires touched which sent him flying. Luckily, my car kept going so I got back on the throttle because the next car back was closing fast. I was able to hold him off for the win.

but awesome Jarhead i haven't won an iRacing event but would be a very satisfactory feeling
