Where do I find how to set up GID the way I want it? Non of the other TUM guys use it so I hope a GBR guy can help me out here.

The manual that comes with it is pretty comprehensive. Basically you enter the on-screen menu, activate the boxes you want, place them where you want then do "Save to all sessions" (GID allows different layouts for practice/quali/race so you most likely want the same display for all sessions).
If you're using triple screens I can send you my config file. If you're using a single screen then it won't help you much.

I won't be able to do anything tonight. We had a major snowstorm roll through Calgary yesterday and last night and given the number of accidents from yesterday and today, it's been a bit crazy.
If someone else can help out tonight then cool. Otherwise I should be able to get you setup tomorrow night if you are available.

Okies, home a bit earlier than expected. I put my GID files in a RAR file for you. All you should need to do is unpack the rar to whatever root rFactor folder you use. ie if its rFactor-Enduracers then unpack the rar file there. The setup is already done and provided you have current DirectX Runtimes (you should already have this) and and the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) (link is in the GID documentation) then GID should start up with no issues. Follow the documentation to customize the layout and what widgets are visible according to your preferences and you should be golden. Any questions just PM me or we can get together on TS. I had to uninstall GID as it would crash to desktop when exiting the game. Have not been on mush as been busy. will retry soon. Thanks.

Yes I believe it is 1.1.2
I wasn't aware of the bug and my apologies. I've never experienced a CTD on exit otherwise I would have warned you in advance.
