Let's be careful about spoilers here because we'll be moving through at different paces.
So far I'm really impressed with the environment. Like other Bioshocks you have the annoying gathering and games/puzzles to deal with but I have to say that there's lots of side areas to explore and find a few extra dollars and gifts.
It seems (based on the first level) that, like in past games, there's going to be points where you pick your character's path through the game so I'm playing this through as a nice guy (but also on max difficulty).
I'm on the XBox version. I considered the PC version for better visuals but I like to play Bioshock while relaxing on the sofa... also the g/f likes to watch just because the games are so visually cool.

I got it on Tuesday night via Steam for PC. It detected my triple screen resolution of 5760 X 1200 right away. I did have to turn down the eye candy from Ultra to High which is fine. The game only runs at 30 FPS on my set up, but it's silky smooth and locked in.
The game looks amazing on three screens, it seems like more and more games are triple screen ready out if the box. The first hour or so is amazing. The scenery and artwork cry out utopian early 20th century. The guns are similar, in that they look like they come from early American 20th century, but the have a satisfying functionality.
Only complaint is the checkpoint save system. Bioshock had save anywhere, why can't this game have it?
Anyway, it's a 10/10, best non-SIM racing game I have played in a while. Between this and Dishonored (which also plays perfectly on the triples), I am a very happy camper.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I hate checkpoint saves and wasn't happy to see them here.
