I'm hopeful for next race, my exam is next friday, then it's big catch up on everything else I've skipped out on, oh and I'm getting married in Sept so I'm sure my lady would appreciate some of my time. But next race though that's the easy answer, maybe not well practiced as it's been months since I even turned the wheel on but I'm excited and will be very happy to get back in.

I'd pay $50 for a recording of the pre-race chat... Anyone? DONT remind me Bash I would of had it all but I forgot to turn the microphone on on me camera (it sits in my gaming headset)... the video I did was the footage from camera then I recorded the race replay with fraps (120 FN gig) & stole sound from it.. what a pain to work this out lol the offending button   |

haha I'm sorry to beat a dead horse but it was seriously funny afterwards. Definitely one of those moments where you think "is this really happening?" Hell, I even told my girlfriend about it later and she doesn't give a rats ass about my sim racing stuff.  Thank you to Hawks for handling it so pointedly. |

I'm a little disappointed that I didn't hear it myself and happy that I didn't too, I've got no time for jerkoffs when people work hard and give up tons of their own time for all of our sakes and enjoyment.

My first race at GBR so I'm sitting there thinking "Man these dudes are hardcore. Guy flipping out over the start time". As funny as it was I'm glad it was handled as well as it was. Besides, how can you flip out like that at Seahawks. His voice and mannerisms sound like a contemporary Mr. Rogers. How can you curse out Mr. Rogers? LOL. That's like kicking a cat while it's having kittens. LMAO

I told my coworkers what happened and explained that hawks is super chill and never raised his voice and even tried to let him apologize but the cussing continued and the down came the hammer. This is becoming the stuff of legend. I have never been in a situation like that but I thought it was handled great.
GBR is FREE! Lots of guys put in a lot of time and money to keep this league running. I appreciate all that you guys do and to be treated like that is uncalled for. I will say it again good, riddance to anybody that acts like that.

Sweet highlights, there was some carnage in that race with cars all over the place, it seemed as though you could just look off in the distance in nearly every shot and there was some car facing the wrong way! There was some nice driving in there and some healthy contact too. I'm not too sure as I know the bumping happens but it could be said that we could all be a little more cautious re-joining after offs, and as we work our way around people. I saw lots of torpedo moves trying to take bad corner position into good corner position (inside to outside). Just an observation, I know I'm guilty of getting the adrenaline going and wanting to hold the position but most of us know when we don't have the racing line and should concede the corner position to avoid lots of these pitt manoevers in the highlights?
Thanks for the sweet highlights again Hawks and well done everyone.

First off, thanks for supporting me on the incident that occurred pre-race. I have no patience for people who act like pompous morons and that person obviously showed their true colors. We have worked very hard over the past couple of years to make this "league" enjoyable and to have folks that are great to be around and have integrity. While my schedule to do videos will likely become hit and miss this season, I did go ahead and put one together last night (up til 3 am) Hope you enjoy. |

Also, a couple guys commented on the lack of shadows in the video. For some reason, this track made my video card buggy and flicker, so I turned down shadows to low and that seemed to help. It was either shadows or smooth video, so figured you would rather see smooth.
